Project Sparc

Welcome to Project Sparc: Explore, Discover, Connect

Over a number of years, Outside Lives has been developing what we have now called ‘PROJECT SPARC’, which aims to connect people:

💚 to themselves,

🏘️ to the community,

🌿 to nature

Sparc focuses on empowering people to choose their next steps towards better wellbeing🌟✨

Sparc is rooted in our values of Earth Care, People Care, and Future Care, and guided by Permaculture principles; we aim to empower people to create sustainable connections 🌍🌿

Who’s this for? As with everything at Outside Lives, there isn’t a particular demographic of people for Sparc. This project is aimed at anyone who ‘needs a little bit extra at the moment’

What we do: Project Sparc follows a 6-stage cycle, from initial connection to a final reflection session, ensuring people are supported every step of the way. 🚶‍♂️➡️🌈

We use a person-centred approach, actively listening to people and co-creating a range of unique opportunities to support a journey of self discovery and connection.

At the moment we are delighted that we have been able to fund 3 strands of this project:

⚡ ️ Into the Woods : funded by Arts Council Wales and Natural Resources Wales for people looking to make more social connections in the outdoors.

⚡️Sparc Bach | Little Spark : funded by Rise, for young people aged between 6-16 who are wanting to spend more time in nature and make new connections with young people in the area.

⚡️Sparc | Discovering Dementia Flintshire: Outside Lives is now leading on the Dementia 🧠 and Communities 🤝 work for Flintshire County Council (FCC).
Our goal is simple but important… to help make Flintshire a better place to live for people affected by dementia 💜.
