Our Vision for Glanrafon Centre
In 2022, we embarked on a journey to revitalise a beloved community landmark—Glanrafon Centre in Mold. This building, steeped in rich local history, has served many roles, from a primary school to the home of BBC Radio Clwyd. Now, we’re dreaming of its future.
At Outside Lives, we envision Glanrafon Centre as a vibrant, multifaceted hub for “people and planet”. Our goal is to transform it into a welcoming space where community, creativity, well-being, and environmental sustainability converge. We want to create a place where everyone, no matter their background, can come together, feel included, and participate in activities that promote personal and collective growth.
Our vision is to offer a space that fosters:

A New Chapter in 2023
We are excited to announce that Outside Lives is in discussions with Flintshire County Council to formally take on the lease of Glanrafon Centre. We aim to breathe new life into this space, transforming it into a hive of activity that serves to promote the health and well-being of both people and the planet.
