KATE BOWYER

I finished Uni last summer and after having my nose firmly in history books for three years, Outside Lives is an amazing change.

I knew from talking to Lucy that it was a place that focused on exactly what I value: people, the environment and the future of our planet. It’s a great place to be and an amazing team to be a part of.

WHERE'S HOME?

Up a hill in the middle of nowhere (outside Bodfari). I’m very lucky that on a clear day I have views of Snowdonia and the sea.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

I’m a home bird if ever you’ve seen one. I’m at my happiest reading, baking or walking with my dog Mali. My ideal evening consists of a blanket, a cup of tea and some Netflix.

WHAT DO YOU GROW?

For someone who loves being surrounded by plants I don’t have much of a green thumb at all! I’ve even killed more than one cactus (after being told they’re nearly impossible to kill)

WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

I enjoy quite a lot of music to be honest. I’ll happily put the radio on in the car but I’m also really enjoying old Arctic Monkey’s albums at the minute.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON?

Summer, hands down! The nice weather and long days mean that you can near enough live outside.
