Green Room
Outside Lives Green Room is an inclusive ensemble of artists and collaborators based in North East Wales. We believe that culture should be shaped by the people who live it. Our work is built through co-creation – everyone around the table, sharing ideas, testing possibilities, shaping stories and building work together.
Through performance, storytelling, devising and collaborative making, Green Room has grown into a confident, ambitious creative force. Our recent production Carol Nadolig / A Christmas Carol brought together performers, musicians and volunteers and was shared with an audience of over 350 people.
We gather weekly to explore what inspires us, what challenges us, and what we want to say. Ideas are developed collectively, refined through feedback, and shaped into bold, high-quality work that reflects our experiences. Professional artists work alongside ensemble members to realise hopes, ambitions and dreams.
Outside Lives Green Room is also evolving. Through Green Room: The Company, we are building pathways into professional creative practice – supporting artists to develop portfolios, confidence, skills and ambition. We recognise the talent that exists in our community and are committed to nurturing it locally, sustainably and visibly.
