At Outside Lives, we’re all about bringing people together and our Minibus helps make that happen. Whether it’s getting to a session, heading out on an adventure, or simply making sure no one misses out, our Minibus is here to help more people get involved, get connected, and get on the road.
The Minibus
Our community minibus is here to make group travel simple, safe, and accessible.
– Accessible group transport
– Driven by our friendly and trained drivers
– Passenger assistant available if needed: We ask that each booking has a responsible person for the journey. If that’s not something you can arrange, our friendly passenger assistant will join the trip – they’re there to help with getting on and off the bus, seatbelts, and overall comfort.

– Up to 16 passengers (capacity reduced when transporting wheelchairs)
– Wheelchair accessible
– Dementia friendly
– Minibus can only be driven by one of our drivers
Hire the Minibus
We offer minibus hire with:
– Seats up to 16 passengers: Our minibus is a 17‑seater including the driver. When using wheelchair spaces, capacity is reduced (each wheelchair space replaces two seats).
– Wheelchair accessible: The minibus can accommodate up to two wheelchairs and now includes grab rails to help passengers get on and off safely and comfortably.
– Driven by our trained drivers: The minibus always comes with one of our friendly, experienced Outside Lives drivers – self‑drive hire isn’t available, so you can relax knowing you’re in safe hands.

Availability & Booking
We recommend booking with as much notice as possible, as our minibus and drivers are in high demand and availability depends on driver cover. Where possible, we ask for at least one week’s notice, but please don’t let that put you off – we’ll always do our best to help, even at shorter notice.
There’s no fixed area limit for journeys. We’ll look at each request individually and confirm what’s possible based on driver availability. If you’re unsure whether your journey might work, just get in touch – we’re always happy to have a chat.
Pricing
As a not‑for‑profit organisation, we aim to keep our minibus hire as accessible as possible. Once you’ve submitted an enquiry, we’ll provide a quote based on your journey.
Prices are based on your journey and are designed to be fair, transparent, and affordable for community groups.
