Outside Lives offers unique nature-based team wellbeing days designed to help organisations step away from the pressures of everyday work and reconnect with what matters.
Set within our beautiful woodland site, these days provide an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect; with yourself, each other and nature.
Our team days combine wellbeing practices, traditional crafts, creative experiences and time in nature, creating a powerful shared experience that strengthens relationships, restores energy and supports wellbeing.
Everything we do is guided by our core values:
People Care | Earth Care | Future Care
Every team day is designed collaboratively with you. We will work with you to design a day that suits your team and ensures the activities and sessions align with your interests, group size, budget and time.
To ensure everyone has the best experience, we usually split larger teams into smaller groups of around 10 participants for activities. This allows people to fully engage with each session and enjoy a more personal experience.
Throughout the day, the group comes together at key moments to share food, reflect and reconnect as a whole team.
Activities take place across our woodland site including:
● Woodland spaces
● The Yurt
● The Cabin
● Outdoor Kitchen
● Fire Circle
● Woodland Forge
Arrival & Woodland Welcome | 9:30 – 10:15
Participants arrive at Outside Lives HQ and are welcomed at our woodland shelter.
The morning begins with tea, coffee and homemade snacks at the outdoor kitchen, giving
everyone time to arrive, settle and connect with colleagues in a relaxed setting.
Participants are introduced to the woodland site and the ethos behind Outside Lives, before being invited to take a short guided walk through the space to begin the day grounded and present.
Morning Activity Sessions | 10:15 – 12:45
Participants split into smaller groups (typically around 10 people) and rotate through two different experiences across the site.
These sessions are immersive, hands-on and designed to support wellbeing, creativity and connection.
Examples might include a calming session in the yurt, a creative workshop in the cabin, or practical outdoor skills in the woodland.
Seasonal Plant Based Lunch | 12:45 – 1:45
The group comes back together to share a hearty and nutritious 2 course meal prepared by our Grub Hub team.
Lunch is served either in the cabin, around the fire circle, or outside on our picnic benches in the sunshine depending on the season; offering a relaxed moment for teams to gather, connect and enjoy nourishing food together.
Afternoon Experiences in the Woods | 1:45 – 3:45
The afternoon continues with a woodland session. This session often focuses on team connection, creativity or traditional craft skills, allowing participants to learn something new while working alongside their colleagues.
Whether gathered around the forge, carving wood, cooking over the fire or relaxing in hammocks beneath the trees, the afternoon offers time to reconnect with the natural world
and with each other.
Reflection Around the Fire | 3:45 – 4:30
The day finishes with the whole group coming back together around the fire circle.
Participants are invited to reflect on the day, share insights and consider how they might take some of the experiences, practices or learning back into their everyday lives and workplaces.
This closing moment helps the day feel complete, meaningful and memorable.
The sessions listed below are just a starting point. Our practitioners bring many skills, crafts and wellbeing practices to the site, so if there is something you would love your team to experience, please let us know and we will do our best to make it happen.
