What to Expect:
Looking to get outside, meet new people and do something meaningful for the community? Thursdays at A Place for You are all about creating a welcoming space for people and wildlife.
Come for the whole day or just pop in for a while – every bit of help makes a difference. You’ll be supporting conservation and gardening projects, helping to transform the site into a thriving haven for nature.
We’ll take plenty of breaks, with snacks, hot drinks and a free lunch provided, so there’s always time for a cuppa and a chat with fellow volunteers.
What to Bring / Wear:
Be sure to bring gloves, dress in comfortable layers, and wear sturdy shoes or boots – you’ll be outside most of the day! Gloves if you have them also (we’ll provide spares too)
How to Get Here:
A Place for You is based in Deeside and is easy to reach by car or public transport. Parking is available on site. The address is Rowley’s Drive, Shotton, Deeside CH5 1PY.
